Job Description

This role is for an experienced Technology Lead to join the Equity Derivatives and Trading (EDT) Technology and drive the transformation of the platforms to cloud native solutions, aiming to drive scalability and agility.

We are looking for an established technologist with a track recording in delivering innovative and scalable solutions in complex environments, particularly in the financial markets industry.

You will display a high degree of transaction ownership and possess the ability to re-prioritize in a changeable environment. You think strategically but have a strong commercial focus and are committed to realising exceptional value for our business.

To excel in this role, you will have:

• Experience building and supporting distributed compute application environments.
• Experience with cloud migrations and transforming applications to cloud-native technologies (AWS preferred).
• Software development experience in the financial industry (Java, .Net, SpringBoot, sql)
• Leadership experience
• Experience in agile software development, SDLC tools and best practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong learning mindset
• Domain knowledge in Equity derivatives and Delta 1 products
• Tertiary degree in IT or similar subject.
