Role Responsibilities
The Data and Privacy Transformation Programme, within Group CDO - Chief Data Office, aims to uplift existing data and privacy processes and controls and to improve customer experience. This role will be part of the Transformation Governance Team supporting all governance-related activities for the DPTP programme as well as the broader CDO Agenda. The role-holder will be working with the various Squads, relevant Business and Functions Ops teams, Finance and Governance / Supply Chain Management, Control functions and the DPTP Hive Leads. The successful candidate will manage a stream of work under the Data and Privacy Transformation Programme. Candidate must have a good understanding of project management and governance activities to ensure that the broader programme is equipped to deliver on the programme deliverables. The key responsibilities of the role holder include the following Contract Management

  • Close collaboration with SCM team to ensure all procurement are done in accordance with the SCBuy process (including recording of approvals).
  • Coordinate the risk assessment activities by Contract Owners in DPTP.
  • Support the reviews and approval of new and incremental services to be contracted under the TPRM Framework.
  • Ensure Contract Owners are monitoring, reviewing, and mitigating risks associated with third parties in accordance with the TPRM Framework.
Processes
  • Ensure that all third party relationships are captured in a centralised inventory in a timely manner
  • Ensure and assess compliance to TPRM Framework and adherence to related policies and standards
  • Support maintenance of the TPRM Framework, Policy and Standards in alignment with country regulatory requirements by monitoring regulatory changes impacting outsourcing risk
Programme Governance, Ceremonies, and MIS Reporting
  • Support Business and Functions Directors and Ops Team on the monthly check in call and deck preparation.
  • Preparation and disbursement of the Fortnightly Status Update Report to relevant stakeholders.
  • Meeting organisation, agenda preparation and actions tracking for the Hive Design Governance Meeting among other agile ceremonies.
Risk Management
  • Escalate identified issues to DPTP LT as necessary.
  • Support audit reviews as directed.
  • Identify issues and root causes of incidents including oversight/facilitations of third-party risk mitigation actions.
Project Management
  • Ensure proper financial, cost, vendor and resource management.
  • Upkeep of the Project Document Repository and project artefacts.
  • Ensure staff augmentation resource management is aligned to existing SoW end dates, and validate invoices on a timely basis.
Strategy
  • Streamline vendor new onboarding and renewal process.
  • Ensure all required risk management processes (new and on-going) are performed periodically as specified by governance standards.
  • Be the point of contact for the Vendor team and Contract owners for all required risk approvals and ensure compliance to vendor onboarding procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 5 and more years of extensive experience in a project management role, or PMO role.
  • Degree holder
  • Certified Project Management Professional a plus.
  • Experience in managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodology.
  • Resilient and able to adapt changing priorities and conflicting requirements.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a troubleshooting mindset.
  • Must be experienced in a complex, multi-national organization - an advocate of team multi culture and collaborative working.
  • Must have strong time management skills (including multi-tasking) and be able to prioritize and control activities and deliver results within budgetary and resource constraints.
  • Must be able to manage external (vendor) resources.
  • Must have experience of managing project finances - forecasting, actuals, accruals, estimating.
  • Must have a track record of delivering results from diverse teams.
  • Must possess excellent reporting, (written and oral) communication and influencing skills, particularly in liaison with internal and external service providers and senior leadership.
  • Strong presentation skills .
