The Singapore manufacturing facility is one of the key strategic manufacturing sites for our company and our patients. Our mission to provide patients with a reliable supply of high-quality, safe, and effective medicines and vaccines with a diversity of modalities.

As an Associate Director in HR Business Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives and projects in areas such as organisation design, brand presence, diversity and talent/leadership development, workforce planning and employee engagement to align with key business priorities of client groups and the division. This will be achieved through developing strong influential partnerships with business leaders and providing them support on effectively managing and leading their organisations. You will also be an active advocate for organisational change management practices.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:

Provide HR Leadership, consulting, coaching, counsel and guidance to leaders, people managers & Manufacturing HRBP team across Singapore sites \xe2\x80\x93 70%
  • Workforce Planning Strategy: Initiate and facilitate discussions with clients to review, develop and monitor workforce planning needs for the short term and long term through managing sourcing and selection of talent, development of people and transitioning to meet budgetary and headcount requirements.
  • Capability Build & Future Ready Skills: Identify with key stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 desirable capability gaps with roadmap to build for the future.
  • Performance management: Support and coach managers with year-end reviews, priority setting and performance improvement initiatives/requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Identify strategies and initiatives to facilitate positive employee relations to align with changing business objectives and drivers.
  • Employee engagement, experience & well-being: Identify and champion engagement and employee experience programs to support employee motivation, well-being, focus and retention and assist in building a robust employment brand and value proposition.
  • Organisational design and development: Identify, recommend, review and align organisational design & development initiatives per changing business needs to bring out the best in structure through team & individual.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion advocate: Strategize, plan, organise and mobilise site resources and capabilities in embracing our Ways of Working & safe space to speak.
  • Culture and Change steward: Create and promote positive culture, lead the execution and championing of employee and organisational change management initiatives.
  • Organisational Learning, Leadership Impact & Development: Identify, facilitate, and deliver appropriate strategic interventions and programs in accelerating leadership transformation to drive a high-performance culture.
  • Talent management/succession: Develop regular talent reviews and succession plans with the aim to build future bench strength and leaders of tomorrow in enabling strategic business growth.
  • People management/coach: Provide people managers with effective leadership support and advice, in line with applicable organisational design and behaviours.
  • Digital & Data Analytics: Leverage and use data in impacting key people decisions
  • HR delivery and systems: Identify with constructive feedback & recommendations to continuously streamline, simplify processes, and improve operational service delivery standards and HR digital roadmap
  • HRBP Team Management: lead a team of HRBP in delivering the desired HR outcomes in the manufacturing plants and be directly responsible for their performance and career development
HR Projects & Portfolio Management \xe2\x80\x93 30%
  • Collaborate across the HR COE network such as learning & development, talent acquisition, compensation, global mobility, HR Operations etc. on people strategies and solutions to support and enable our business & workforce.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, preferably with advanced degrees in Business, Psychology, Organisational Behaviour or related HR discipline.
  • Solid (12+) years of experience in a similar HR functional & business partnering role.
  • Proven familiarity with legislations such as Central Provident Fund Act, Employment Act;
  • Employment of Foreign Manpower Act & (Work Passes) Regulations, Fair Consideration Framework, Industrial relations Act, Retirement and Re-employment Act, Workman Injury Compensation Act and
Workplace Safety and Health Act.
  • Strong business consulting skills and ability to develop innovative and effective solutions/approaches by leveraging insights from various information sources.
  • Strategic mindset, capable of partnering across other stakeholders to design strategic frameworks to address needs within the client\xe2\x80\x99s business context.
  • Highly effective communicator with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business.
  • High proficiency in gathering and using external market knowledge, translating data to draw relevant insights to make informed decisions.
  • Experience navigating and leveraging HR systems and data analytics to support people strategies.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation and able to build networks, both internally and externally.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers, extended HR organisation, build trusted partnerships and to work effectively with colleagues at varying levels.
  • Demonstrate learning agility, is committed to personal self-development, is motivated to learn and willing to share what they learn with others.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing a plus though not essential
