Job Profile Support the non-flow product effort for wealth clients; internal wealth network (Wealth and Personal Banking), external private banks, insurers distribution arms, asset managers and family offices Active coverage of internal partners (Global Private Bank and Wealth and Personal Banking) on product launches and UHNW investment solutions Collaborate with senior members and wider team, providing back up and collaborating as appropriate Ability to operate in a global construct jointly with Institutional Sales teams in regional sites to drive HSBC's wealth proposition Drive the cross bank coverage for family offices and proposition Build and maintain business relationships with clients in assigned areas of responsibility Help to identify new cross-asset opportunities to increase penetration with existing clients Idea generation, ensuring alignment with overall strategy and risk appetite Accountable for sales targets and responsible for growing HSBC Wealth sales revenues across the global institutional client base Collaborate with other partner functions within Markets and Securities Services as well as other areas within the Group e.g. Wealth, Personal Banking and Private Banking Encourage constructive cross-country and cross-business teamwork by demonstrating collaboration and matrix management in action and Challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's diversity policy and/or the best interests of the business and its customersKey Requirements Professional individual with strong client management skills Multi-asset (Equity/Macro/FI) sales experience, commensurate with the role band Strong understanding of financial markets and products, including derivatives and structured products Good understanding of the Wealth Sales business, its products, clients, systems and key processes Energetic and driven, striving to achieve the best outcome for clients Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and influencing skills Collaborative working approach to help drive the regional wealth solutions sales effort Good understanding of the regulation in target markets Strong understanding of Cross Assets Structured Solutions; specifically, FICC, Equity Derivatives and Quantitative Investment Strategies Strong understanding of Foreign Exchange & local currency fixed income product propositions Good knowledge of fund constructs, wrappers, eligible clients (i.e. AI / PI vs. retail) and sales restrictions (i.e. UCITs vs. Singapore domiciled vs. HK domiciled) Track record in dealing with a diverse and international group of stakeholders (internal and external) Ability to work well under pressure and service a variety of stakeholder needs Excellent spoken and written English skills.
