Role Responsibilities

Roadshow Manager
  • Organisation of non-deal and deal roadshows both in person/hybrid and virtual.
  • Managing all logistics around roadshows for team originating from ASA / GCNA and provide support to US and UK roadshows in Asia.
  • Ensure roadshows, conferences and events are tracked and measured, cost tracking report to be timely maintained for deal team.
Bond Syndicate
  • Support team on new issuance such as mandate announcements, roadshow logistics, feedback collection, allocations.
  • Syndicate administrative processes including booking of trade tickets and settlements issues.
  • Syndicate reporting processes including ensuring the team adheres to ICMA/SFC protocols.
  • Provide internal market updates and maintain weekly pipeline.
Business
  • Awareness and understanding of wider business, economic and market environment in which the group operates.

  • Responsible for executing and supervising process in accordance with Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Gifts & Entertainment Policies.
People & Talent
  • Lead through example and build appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
  • Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
Risk Management
  • Act as user of external vendors and ensure vendors comply with Bank Supply Chain policies.
Governance
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
  • Responsible for delivering \xe2\x80\x98effective governance\xe2\x80\x99; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
  • Accountable for escalation from (Bond Syndicate) and/or other Group governance committees or stakeholders in senior management, risk or control functions.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the Singapore / Financial Markets / Global Credit Markets / Bond Syndicate team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
  • External \xe2\x80\x93 Issuers, Joint Lead Banks, Travel agents, Hotels, Other external vendors.
  • Internal \xe2\x80\x93 DCM, Sales, Legal and Compliance, Supply Chain Management team, IT and Finance.
