:

As the Associate Director / Director for M&A in the Aon Cyber Solutions \xe2\x80\x93 Asia Pacific team, you will help empower results for our M&A clients by advocating our innovative solutions in support of their security and risk management objectives.

This role will be based in Aon\xe2\x80\x99s Singapore hub and report directly to the Head of Cyber Solutions for Asia Pacific.

What the day will look like

  • Lead delivery of cyber due diligence and portfolio cyber assessment projects across Asia Pacific; including managing technical inputs from Cyber Solutions consultants.
  • Collaborate with Aon\xe2\x80\x99s M&A and Transaction Solutions (AMATS) colleagues across the Asia Pacific region to develop and leverage relationships with key advisors, financial sponsors, and corporate clients to convey the strength and breadth of Aon\xe2\x80\x99s cyber capabilities and drive revenue growth through deal origination activities.
  • Coordinate with the global Cyber Transaction Advisory Solutions team to ensure continued alignment of value proposition, sales assets, and product strategy.
  • Build effective networks with Enterprise Client Group and Multinational client communities to support origination and delivery of cyber engagements for corporate M&A prospects.
  • Provide ongoing relationship support during the execution of transactions, working as a critical interface between the AMATS and Cyber Solutions teams.
  • Engage in thought-leadership and similar initiatives to keep Aon front-of-mind from an advisor and market perspective.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Prior experience as a cyber security advisor, ideally candidates for this role will have gained experience operating as a trusted advisor in the context of an M&A transaction (i.e. as an in-house subject matter expert or in a professional advisory capacity).
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic, demand-based environment, requiring flexibility and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Project management skills to coordinate activities and information flow from different teams within specified timeframes.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across teams and geographies.
  • Comfort with intermittent periods of travel; evening and weekend hours.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships based on trust and credibility with a strong external network.
  • Goal-oriented with strong business acumen, ability to grasp new concepts quickly and client-centric in approach.
  • Ability to work independently, handle competing priorities through effective prioritisation and delegation.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, plus attention to detail.
