Job Title: Associate Engineer (Voice Technology, 15 month contract) Purpose Provide operational Job Title: Associate Engineer (Voice Technology, 15 month contract) Purpose Provide operational and maintenance support to the integrated Voice technology team, covering international voice, domestic voice and signalling systems and services Responsibilities Provide daily operational support for Voice core networks Carry out service migration from one platform to another Perform scripting for migration procedure Monitor voice and signalling traffic Monitor system and service performance Qualifications Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in Telco or IT environment Knowledge of fixed switching network technology, including SS7, SIGTRAN, VoIP, ISDN Q931, SIP and MAP protocols will be advantageous Familiarity with one or more of the following will be advantageous: Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat) Databases (Oracle, MySQL RDBMS), Splunk, OS (Linux, Windows, UNIX, RedHat) Programming knowledge with Perl, HTML 5, Java, Python will be advantageous
