What are we looking for?

We are looking to hire an Associate to join the Withers Singapore Family team. The ideal candidate will have worked in a Family team and have experience with matrimonial litigation. A candidate with command of spoken mandarin is preferred. The role will at times be demanding and fast paced so you will need to be an efficient worker who can prioritise, multi-task and remain calm under pressure.

Areas of focus and responsibilities

The role is focused on advising and assisting an exceptional client base and will involve:

Working in a team of Family lawyers of diverse backgrounds and expertise. Drafting of legal documents and correspondence Legal research Attending court hearings Taking instructions at client meetings and liaising with clients Attending mediation or other settlement meetings

Technical skills and experience

NQ to 2 years PQE with experience in family law Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of attention to detail Analytical, organised and can demonstrate initiative Able to work as part of a dynamic team and also independently to meet deadlines Good command of English essential Proficient in PC skills e.g., Word, Excel & etc
