(*Benefits vary by country) About the job: This position is responsible for providing clinical product support to all end users on Joint Replacement (JR) procedures and our pioneering Mako SmartRobotics, on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures and for providing training, ongoing in-services, and customer education to the assigned account. The Associate Mako Product Specialist will drive continuous account growth of the clinical base by working with key hospital staff, thought leaders and referring doctors in territory to develop a referral base and increase procedural / implant volume. The role will also drive case volume and site growth by translating clinical benefits of MAKO into the economic benefits. Additionally, the Associate Mako Product Specialist will look to provide feedback on product design to improve performance and customer satisfaction. This role will be required to pass Mako course examinations and be a certified Mako Product Specialist within probation. What you will be doing:
Provide case coverage as MPS (Mako Product Specialist) and standby as Clinical Specialist for conventional joint replacement cases.
Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support.
Pre-operative CT scans planning and CT segmentation.
Support operational process including not limiting to case booking, documentations, reporting, billing & consignment counts, etc.
Support training and sales /marketing activities as needed.
Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per the requirements of Stryker\xe2\x80\x99s quality system.
Collaborate with sales & clinical team to deliver high standard of service & quality care to patients.
Must be able to support On-call duty based on team roster.
Support in case date collection in SalesForce.com
Who are we looking for:
Preferably a minimum of +1 year prior experience in a sales and/or technical capacity (medical, pharma or healthcare industry).
Technical Diploma or Degree preferable related to Medical or Engineering fields.
Fresh graduates / undergraduates currently matriculated at an accredited university majoring in related discipline in biomedical science or biomedical engineering are welcome to apply.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills i.e Excel.
Prior operating theatre experience will be highly advantageous.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Good interpersonal skills and pleasant personality.
Strong focus on excellent customer service.
Strong desire to acquire medical and product knowledge and a drive to succeed.
Strong problem solving skills.
