Purpose of the Role
Manage core services within a country / allocated countries and to implement, maintain and develop support services (Facilities /transport / Hospitality / General engineering services / voice communication with approved local service providers ) to customers, participate in cross functional / organization level initiatives including BCMS and anchor the Health, Safety and Environment management initiatives in accordance to the company's policy, Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and in adherence to applicable legislative compliances.

Facilities Management
will be responsible for

  • co-ordinate all facilities activities in order to provide facilities services as per defined policy and local regulations on the same allocate work to his team members and ensure that customer needs are met as per SLA's
  • responsible for implementation of BCMS & HSE as per local regulations and Company guidelines
  • provide all support for activities such as event management, visitor management and food court operations as may be applicable to the region.
  • resolve service escalations
  • assist in medical emergencies as per local regulations
External Relationship Management
  • maintain professional relationships with all external stakeholders / interested parties that the department needs to work with in representing the interests of Infosys.
  • Such stakeholders include government officials, bureaucrats, regulatory authorities, department officials, members of Industry bodies, NGO's, activists and Society at large.
  • Ensure a strong working relationships with vendors who provide services to the company.
  • Conduct all relationships in an ethical manner, always upholding the values of the company.
  • nurture and maintain a professional relationship with key stakeholders in order to meet the department's objectives.
Talent & Competency Development
Interview, recruit and deploy contractual resources in area of work. Impart or arrange to train Facilities contractual personnel in order to develop competencies of the team

Operations Management
  • monitor and manage all operations within area of operations
  • responsible for provisioning of facilities services to his customers and will ensure that such services are provided within stipulated SLA's.
  • review systems and processes and ensure adherence
  • participate in monthly management review meetings and project review meetings.
  • review dashboards to identify areas for cost control and conservation of resources in order to support the delivery of Facilities core services at increasing levels of operational efficiency
Health, Safety & Environment
  • ensure implementation of the HSE initiative, review the system periodically and ensure achievement of objectives and targets.
  • monitor progress of the management plans and plan for periodic trainings for contractual staff.
  • actionize internal and external audit findings, monitor dashboards, work with the Safety Committee and others in order to manage the initiative and continually improve the HSE Management system.
Business Continuity Management System
  • implementation of systems and processes at the location level.
  • be a part of the Country / Geo BCMS team and help manage all BCMS related activities including mock drills, evacuation drills, internal and external audits and all review meetings.
  • rally the team together to manage all incidents until recovery.
  • work with the rest of the team to create necessary awareness within the Country / Geo and ensure trainings for all staff including contractual staff in order to strengthen the BCMS system
Customer Service
  • provide high levels of service to all customers, both internal & external.
  • ensure SLA's are met on every aspect of service.
  • ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded at all times.
  • work to understand the needs of his customers and proactively implement systems, processes and measures in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
Hospitality Services
  • implement and review standards of services provided in all hospitality service areas.
  • ensure staff are provided training and will ensure that new corporate initiatives are implemented quickly and seamlessly.
  • work with his team to ensure cost effectiveness, conservation of resources and compliances in order to meet the expectations of the company
Administration & Logistics Services
responsible for the day to day operations and utilize support desk set up offshore to enable all aspects of VE/PR/PO and payments .
  • liaise with vendors and service providers for services
  • responsible for timely submission of reports to all government bodies and for compliances in terms of regulatory and statutory requirements as may be applicable and in consultation with local legal teams.
  • participate in audits and in closure of findings
  • ensure new assets are inventoried and inventories verified on an annual basis.

Engineering Services
establish proper technical service and backup for critical systems, review maintenance and upkeep of equipment, track Annual Maintenance Contract schedules, prepare estimates for work in accordance with approved designs and plans, review and approve bills of contractors based on their work / as per estimates and plans, review the quality, timeliness and cost for all jobs including new construction, repair and maintenance of existing infrastructure, co-ordinate maintenance related activities, set up voice communication network in new facilities, regularly inspect the power systems, define and ensure preventive maintenance schedules, oversee, monitor condition / reports of all the critical equipment and ensure 24 X 7 hour support and plan for inventory in order to provide engineering services for effective functioning of the Country / Geo in consultation with approved service partners

Systems, Processes and Initiatives
review and maintain documentation, participate in internal / external audits, support in implementation of technology and new systems / processes, analyze employee surveys and customer feedback and continually improve services and processes and suggest and implement cost effective measures in facilities operations in order to enhance the nature and quality of services provided.
