Key responsibilities are as follows, but not limited to:
Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with individuals (home-based/in-centre)
Develop, design, implement and conduct workshops for children
Coordinate, evaluate and design comprehensive support plan for sessions/workshops
Report directly, present case updates to supervisor(s) pro-actively and attend monthly supervision sessions
Utilise evidence-based behaviour management approaches in addressing behavioural deficits for a range of behavioural issues such as anger management, aggression, non-compliance, self-injurious behaviour etc.
Work closely with (client) family and engage parents in the therapy plan process by providing session updates frequently.
Empower parents by providing them with skills and techniques to support the development of their child's positive behaviours.
Assist to conduct comprehensive functional cognitive/behavioural assessments (only for graduates).
Attend professional development opportunities to maintain high level of skills and knowledge of current research and best practices.
Communicate effectively (verbally and written) with various stakeholders such as staff members, parents, and other associated professionals.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience
Degree in Psychology (students welcome)
Able to demonstrate efficient time management skills in completing required tasks and any staff-related collaborative work that is time-sensitive.
Maintain a high level of productivity that is results-oriented, and aligned with the vision of the Company.
Candidate who has both therapy experience and possesses a Teaching Certification will be a plus for this role.
Possess a passion for working with children who learn differently
Expert knowledge of function-based intervention planning for developing behaviour change strategies that focus on reducing problem behaviour and increasing more appropriate behaviour.
