Initially set up in 1982 as the NTUC Computer Training Centre, a division under the Skills Development Department of the NTUC Administration and Research Unit, the organisation has evolved to meet the burgeoning training needs of Singaporeans to continuously keep pace with the dynamic business economy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom training and conduct competency based assessments
• Create and/or maintain training materials
• Set up, administer, and assist with maintaining classroom equipment
• Conduct training needs analysis for corporate customers

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or equivalent
• Hold one or more of the following certifications
  • Project Management Institute (PMI), USA
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)\xc2\xae
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)\xc2\xae
  • AXELOS
    • PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification
    • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
  • Org
    • Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
    • Professional Scrum Developer (PSD)
    • Professional Scrum Product Owner(PSPO)
  • Scaled Agile Inc
    • SAFe\xc2\xae 4 Scrum Master (SSM)
    • SAFe\xc2\xae 4 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
    • SAFe\xc2\xae 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM)
  • Microsoft
    • Microsoft Project
    • Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS) / Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)

• Possess relevant industry experience and at least 3 years of teaching experience
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with clients at all levels
• Holding WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is advantageous
• Possessing any one of the Instructor certification from IT vendors (e.g. Microsoft Certified Trainer, Cisco Certified Systems Instructor, Oracle Approved Instructor, Certified EC-Council Instructor, etc) is a plus
• Familiar with Singapore Government funding policies and training incentive programmes is a plus
• Strong technical aptitude for learning new technologies quickly
• Candidates holding WSQ ACTA or WSQ DACE qualification but without any teaching experience will also be considered.
