Asst/ Motor & Generator Technical Manager

Assistant/ Motor & Generator Technical Manager will execute after sales business activity, provide technical support, solve customer problem, and achieve good customer satisfaction within Motion Business Area in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Providing technical support on LV/ HT Motor & Generator on repair & servicing
• Supporting the workshop team in identifying valuation order proposal and resolving any technical issue
• Providing technical support to the sales team on technical proposal
• Working Together with Operation Manager to develop training strategies building up competency of the team
• Demonstrating problem solving and decision-making skills.
• To be comfortable in interacting directly with our customers on a need basis, to understand their concerns and provide the required support.
• Supporting in ABB Ability Business
• Technical supporting in the customer's escalation case.

Your background

• Degree, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical engineering with LV/HT Motor/Generator hands on experience on repair and service experience
• Strong electrical or electronics engineering fundamental knowledge. Knowledge on theory, structure, application, testing methodology and component fault diagnosis/analysis will be added advantage.
• Strong self-discipline with initiative and learning spirit with positive attitude, teamwork, and responsibility.
• Effective spoken and written communication in English.
• Basic computer application knowledge for job reporting and communication with MS Office and other common application software
• Candidate will be required to have full work rights due to limitation of work visa
