As a Barclays Audio Visual Support Analyst, you will join the Workplace Collaboration Services (WCS) Team. WCS is part of GTIS and the gateway to IT for all in Barclays Group, providing services that enable colleagues to create, share, connect, find & access applications from anywhere on any device. You will participate in weekly team meetings to keep track of all operational support items, as well as regularly observing the operational support items to ensure the highest standard of delivery and execution of services.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing daily Media Services Operations
  • Supporting Media Services to the firm globally, and enabling the business to satisfy its current and future objectives
  • Providing regular weekly updates on any potential issues that need to be addressed
  • Executing support to a high standard and in a globally consistent manner and that all processes and procedures are being adhered to
  • Actively seek out and track operational service improvements and work with Media Service leadership to implement new processes
  • Providing escalation and support to the Media Services leadership team
  • Ensuring the regional team are always up to date with latest processes and procedures and that support models are being followed correctly
  • Identifying any opportunities to drive efficiencies or service improvements to achieve great outcomes for our clients and key stake holders
What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:
  • 5-10 years of experience working in a Corporate AV environment
  • First class customer handling and ability to grow and own key relationships
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with the global team and understand and adapt to ever changing business requirements.
  • Experience in vendor management and engagement
Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Thorough understanding of all operational aspects of service within Media Services and ability to identify and leverage subject matter experts within the team to support specific requirements
  • Ability to encourage, mentor and persuade people and influence outcomes
  • Confidence to suggest solutions to clients and key stake holders to maximize user experience
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
