Audio Visual Infrastructure Analyst

As a Barclays Audio Visual Infrastructure Analyst, this is an exciting opportunity where you will be providing fast resolution to incidents that arise, to understand the root cause of incidents, and to continually improve service availability. You will be responsible for supporting collaboration infrastructure services, and enabling the business to satisfy its current and future objectives.

What will you be doing?

• Participating in regular team meeting to keep track of ongoing support matters, upcoming tasks and balance out workload across the global team
• Exploring industry standards and best practices and utilising training opportunities to ensure knowledge and skill sets are maintained to uphold stability across all infrastructure platform
• Maintaining current and up-to-date infrastructure related product and document for reference and future usage
• Acting as a point of contact to identify and remediate both pro-actively and reactively any fault within the global collaboration infrastructure estate
• Collaborating with Media Services Operations team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Maintaining accurate Service Now & BCM tools, service and CI information for Collaboration Infrastructure, and ensure all DR testing is performed and recorded as required to satisfy audit
• Building and maintaining lab and UAT test environmentaAEURA(TM)s that accurately reflect production services
• Working with partners and vendors to evaluate new technology and services as directed by the head of collaboration services

What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:

• Experience working in an AV environment
• Proven incident/problem/change management experience, working with ITIL framework for corporate organizations
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure services i.e. Windows, SQL databases, Active Directory, Firewalls, Networks
• Good knowledge of Information Security and Compliance

Skills that will help you in the role:

• ITIL foundation certificate and experience of working in a global organisation preferably spanning infrastructure, applications and/or operational environments
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Manager as a management tool for securing desktop and mobile endpoints
• Good knowledge of all Microsoft O365 applications, to include Desktop, Web and mobile based variations
• Knowledge of the vendor market, industry standards and best practice
