Identifies or addresses malfunctions of plant operational equipment. Proactively involved in identifying the defects in the operational equipment and finding out ways in which can be rectified.
Monitors plant equipment operation and performance, adjusting to performance specifications.
Communicates the status of operating equipment to production supervisors or managers.
Maintain logs and reports. work requests, or other records of work performed in the plant.
propose improvements to prevent the re-occurrence of trouble, and target set not more than 3 times similar incidents.
Coordinate with all contractors/supplies for in-house periodic maintenance including plant facilities and repairs.
PLC & Software
Able to read and write Siemens S7 PLC & HMI codes.
Knowledge of serial communication.
Knowledge of programming languages
Other Operational Duties
Maintain proper documentation
Housekeeping of spare parts, tools, and accessories.
Initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects as assigned by Managers.
Competencies
Electrical design and drawing.
Install, calibrate, program modification, operate, and simulate the industrial Robot such as FANUC using Siemens S7 PLC, and HMI.
Work with Suppliers and Vendors to determine the selection of proper components.
Perform installations/commissioning of machine/robot.
Travel:
Travel for this position is up to 30%.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in an engineering discipline
Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing industries with an automation background.
A proven record of accomplishment in automation work will be advantageous.
Required hands-on experience and remote support.
