Sanofi Manufacturing and Supply organization is preparing its future through an ambitious program named Modulus. The Modulus Project is at the cornerstone of Sanofi strategy as it aims at creating a new manufacturing concept consisting of a new generation of evolutive multi-product facilities, modular, adaptable and agile, leveraging new disruptive technologies, to better address vaccine business challenges as well as Specialty Care Biologics products.

Main Accountabilities

Develop and execute the site automation master plan Manage and provide leadership to the automation engineer groups (site and projects) Develop and maintain the site automation resource plan. Allocate resources to projects, leads automation recruitment Design and implement automation solutions (SCADA, DCS, PLCs) Lead IoT initiatives and integrate smart devices Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Optimize production processes through automation Collaborate with IT for seamless integration of OT and IT systems Participate in global networks, contribute lessons learned to the network Participate in global initiatives when requested Responsible to understand current global design guidelines and application

IoT strategy and roadmap for manufacturing Selection and implementation of automation technologies Automation project prioritization and resource allocation Process improvement initiatives through automation Compliance strategies for automated systems OT/IT convergence strategies and implementations

Expected Experience

Strong background in industrial automation, specifically DCS infrastructure, batch process, device interface Understanding of industry standards (e.g., ISA-95, ISA-88) Cybersecurity proficiency in OT/IT convergent environments Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies implementation Extensive experience in deployment and maintenance of Emerson DeltaV DCS
