In Credit Operations, we support Consumer Banking Mortgage, Auto Loans, Cards & Unsecured Loans Application and Servicing functions, Chargeback & Merchant Operations and inspire to delight our business partners through our strategic thinking and innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Review Process/ Documentation - Liaise with stakeholders to review processes for new launches/ changes or transfer of activities
  • Support Business Continuity Planning activities
  • Facilitate Budget and Headcount planning, Expenses tracking, Access Management, Training related and other administrative matters
  • Target Operating Model implementation - Draft as-is and to-be map and work with Regional, Technology and Operations teams to execute plans
  • System Re-platform initiatives - Liaise with stakeholders and coordinate across Credit Operations teams.
  • Provide relevant operational risk related guidance to the Operations team
  • Identify areas of improvement to tighten the control and work with the Operations team to close the gaps
  • Develop and deliver training (Credit Operations specific) to promote risk culture and awareness of operational risk and controls
  • Facilitate Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA), by engaging with stakeholders across Business, Support Units and the Operations teams to identify the focus areas, ensure that assessment and validation are done and submit on timely manner
  • Engage stakeholders to facilitate and follow up with issues and reviews from internal/external audit and regulators. To ensure timely completion of agreed actions and/or escalate as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree with a minimum of 5 years working experience in financial institutions, with Secured Loans and Unsecured Loans knowledge would be an added advantage
  • Related work experience on business transformation projects will be desirable
  • Proficient in operational risk management.
  • Purpose driven with strong passion to deliver real outcomes and impact in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Keen interest in emerging digital trends and how to apply them to improve our digital customer experience
  • Ability to analyse and resolve problems with the use of data
  • Ability to think strategically and handle end-to-end execution
  • Ability to think out-of-box, challenge status quo and problem-solve with the ability to gather, organize, analyse information with attention to details - completeness and accuracy
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Meticulous and able to work under pressure in a time-critical environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, being IT savvy with knowledge of QlikView, Power BI, Tableau will be an advantage
