Job Description


Global Financial Institutions provide financial solutions and advisory for clients in Banking, Insurance, Exchanges, Broker Dealers, Financial Leasing, Fintechs, Regulated Funds and Alternatives (Private Capital Funds, Hedge Funds) segments.
We are a dynamic team of game changers who are constantly seeking to improve the value proposition for our clients globally and driving collaboration across internal business units. Our aim is to make OCBC the preferred banking partner for our clients especially in Asia.
:

  • Perform regulatory requirement self-assessment, Data Quality and Business Continuity Plans for the Global Financial Institutions portfolio
  • Prepare and submit internal compliance reports
  • Review and implement group compliance procedures / policies in Global Financial Institutions
  • Review and identify areas for improvements and enhance existing procedures and existing internal controls to strength the first line of defense, including engagement with the team to establish appropriate controls for any new business initiative
  • Assist the Team Head to manage and co-ordinate audits including regulatory inspections and to follow up and close any audit issues raised
  • Provide support and advice to the Global Financial Institutions team on general compliance matters
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and able to work independently and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or above holder in Finance or Banking
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneNote, OneDrive), strong IT skills with understanding of new technologies and able to utilize IT to streamline some of the work streams for more effective and efficient regulatory and data related self-assessment
  • Good team player who is driven, pro-active with a positive attitude and comfortable with a dynamic, fast-changing environment. Detailed oriented and able to multi-task
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in compliance or operations risk management with a good understanding of banking operations and knowledge of Singapore regulatory guidelines
