Business Function Institutional Banking (IBG) Data Chapter is committed to building a data driven organization and maximising the key data capabilities to transform how IBG does business. Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert in data analytics including predictive analytics, descriptive analytics, data visualization, and offering the full spectrum of fit-for-purpose solutions to solve business problems
• Understand the job to be done, propose suitable solutions, and where required to challenge status quo of what analytics can do to deliver value. Work closely with cross functional teams involving relationship managers, technology teams, data scientists and product managers
• Drive projects and experiments to completion with little supervision in ambiguous and frequently- changing environment.
• Assist in identification & exploration of requisite data \xe2\x80\x93 evaluating feasibility, extracting knowledge and actionable insights from massive datasets
• Planning, developing, and implementing the data analytics models by working closely with Data scientists, technology teams, business users and product teams
• Anticipating problems before they occur; defining the problem; identifying possible causes; working with team to identify solutions; selecting and implementing most appropriate solution
• Developing and executing on project plans; identifying schedules, specifications, risks, and contingency plan.
• Keeping up to date with analytics techniques and technologies
  

Requirements

• Team player with good business analysis skills, i.e., interpreting business needs and translating that into analytics requirements
• Experience working with technology teams, data scientists, managing development and deployment of data analytics projects into production environment.
• Keen understanding of data science and machine learning techniques
• Storytelling with data: ability to clearly communicate data findings to non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated with can-do attitude and the fortitude to be comfortable in ambiguous and complex situations
• Competencies in data manipulation tools (e.g. SQL, Python, etc) will be an advantage.
