Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities

• Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
• Prepare and review materials used in transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks.
• Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions.
• Analysis of real estate asset and/or asset portfolio performance; Identify key benchmarks which has the potential to be optimized for said asset and/or asset portfolio.
• Translate potential performance optimisation into estimated valuation uplift, substantiated by robust analysis and data points.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders (architects, consultants, regulators) to facilitate deal ideation, and sourcing for potential pipeline.
• Executing, managing and advising on potential transactions which covers, inter alia, deal evaluation, feasibility studies and deal structuring.
• Detailed financial modelling.
• Verify and consolidate data from various sources to build meaningful reports on asset performance and relevant benchmarks, which could include e.g. asset manager KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s Degree with major in Finance, Accounting, Investment Management or any related disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking/real estate investment banking/buy side role; previous working experience on real estate transactions preferred.
• Understanding of property funds eco-system and investment scene; Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news.
• Working knowledge of deal structuring and execution.
• Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes.
• Strong verbal and written presentation skills to effectively communicate results/implications to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong ability to create and dissect reports, summarize findings and make sound recommendations to facilitate deal ideation, structuring and execution.
• Proficiency in relevant software e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Relevant real estate databases.
• Ability to perform financial modelling with prominent data mining and analytical skills for screening investment opportunities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
