Business Function Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. Responsibilities

• Architect innovative and robust solutions using latest technologies (cloud or on-prem containerisation platforms) and Java.
• Partner with developers to build the solutions designed.
• Able to perform Unix/Linux scripting.
• Write production quality code.
• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases.
• Work with cloud infrastructure and managed services such as AWS Lambda, AWS SNS, AWS Step Functions, etc.
• Work with the business users in designing robust and repeatable architecture patterns that would be deployed on-premise as well as cloud infrastructure.
• Explain the pros and cons of various architecture design patterns to end-users.

Requirements

• BSc or above in Computer Science, Math, Engineering or other quantitative disciplines. Candidates with strong cloud development backgrounds would be highly preferred.
• Individual with a strong interest and natural curiosity in exploring various technical domains in the areas of intelligent applications and cloud technology.
• 6-10 years of experience in software design and development and/or cloud engineering.
• Strong Java and Springboot knowledge.
• Knowledge in frontend development using Angular or React would be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of containerisation frameworks and public cloud services.
• Good understanding of industry architecture patterns used for developing robust and scalable applications.
• A keen learner who desires to learn and acquire new knowledge both in business and technical domains, as well as to acquire proficiency in new tools, languages and techniques.
• A strong team player who can contribute as an individual.
