Description
The Cash Product Manager will be primarily responsible for developing transaction banking capabilities in the focus markets where OCBC has branch presence, to support OCBC\'s leading position in ASEAN-Greater China region. He/she will champion the acceleration and enhancements of payment and collections capabilities to serve the needs of regional clients.
This role will present a fulfilling opportunity for an individual who has the driven desire to develop and succeed. The candidate will have exposure to internal stakeholders in Singapore and overseas branches, as well as senior management across the Bank.
Job Scope

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis on key focus markets to identify potential opportunities, challenges, and competitor offerings to formulate cash product strategy.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of relevant cash products in alignment with the product strategy. This includes close collaboration with IT analysts and developers to ensure requirements are accurately captured and developed.
  • Ensure strong product governance through establishing necessary internal controls, practices and documentation which adhere to local legal and regulatory standards.
  • Define pricing strategies and positioning to maximize market penetration and profitability.
  • Establish key performance indicators to assess and monitor product performance and profitability, and work with Relationship Managers and Sales to ensure commercialization.
  • Lead discussions with Operations, Implementation and Servicing departments to set up operating model necessary for Product to launch and function seamlessly.
  • Organize training and feedback sessions with internal teams to brief on key product knowledge, processes, improvements, etc.
Qualifications
Requirements
  • Tertiary education with minimum 5 years of working experience.
  • Experience in product management; management of cash transaction banking products within regional context preferred.
  • Strategic mindset with ability to develop and execute regional product strategies aligned with business goals.
  • A versatile and resourceful individual who is capable of adapting, understanding and applying knowledge in new and evolving markets. Able to travel abroad for business meetings.
  • A driven leader who is delivery focused and possesses strong communication and presentation skills, in order to effectively engage and influence stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • Industry knowledge of ASEAN markets in relation to cash product landscape, customer trends and needs.
  • Ability to work confidently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders such as Operations, Technology, Sales, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance teams.
