Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a AWP Senior Delivery Partner.

Principal Responsibilities

The objective of the role is to deliver a new internal talent framework in line with our Wealth strategy for digitization and innovation to grow market share. Think wider than our BAU hiring route, and shift our mind-set from hiring for experience to hiring for skills and capabilities.

To differentiate from other organisations, developing our internal talent remains a top priority to ensure our people have an opportunity to develop critical skills in order to be successful in the priority Wealth roles, with relevance to the changing context of our customers' needs. This is a priority for WPB, and an essential component of the WPB Wealth strategy.

  • Support Accelerated Wealth Program lead to deliver new internal talent framework attraction campaigns, activities and accompanying materials and assets, that are aligned to the Group's employer brand and support the recruiting segments, priorities and targets across a complex internal matrix environment and competitive landscape
  • Deliver all campaign elements in conjunction with regional and global resourcing & on boarding teams and 3rd party consultants
  • Inspires confidence in the future of the program vision and generates excitement, enthusiasm and commitment
  • Partner with the business leaders to deliver against program needs, ensuring they support and partner at every step of the journey
  • Work with and provide subject-matter expertise and support, through consultation and advice, to key WPB and HR stakeholders such as Resourcing and On boarding (including HSBC's onsite RPO partners where applicable), HR Business Partners, Consultants and Advisors, country and regional HR leads
  • Identify opportunities to continually improve the campaign, think innovatively and taking strategic risk
Requirements

  • Experience in change transformation programs with an emphasis on HR related initiatives in preferred
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels
  • Strong understanding of the HSBC WPB business, network, customer segments, products offered and competitive market
  • Successful track record of executing ideally within financial services or demanding corporate environments where operational HR issues have to be handled on a large scale
  • Strong appreciation and understanding of very diverse markets, culture and people, strong interest in the Asia-Pacific region
  • Demonstrable experience in vendor management as well as internal stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Confident and can thrive in a very fast paced environment where opportunities and challenges arise, making every day different. Can deliver on time to a high standard while working under pressure and deadlines
  • Extremely self-motivated, self-sufficient and resourceful, expert at multi-tasking and juggling many key projects at the same time, possess strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking and exceptional attention to detail
  • A strong sense to do the right thing, speak up and work with courageous integrity
  • Energetic and highly-motivated with a creative bent to produce leading talent attraction and recruitment solutions that enhances a positive candidate experience
