As Baking Application Technologist, you will contribute to sustainable scientific application development with focus on the baking industry, provide high-level technical support during new product developments and for maintaining the high-quality standard of our VERON products and you will support the technical validation of prioritized regional sales activities.Your key responsibilities include: Providing high-level technical support to key customers and high potential projects Strengthening internal application know-how and product portfolio development focusing on regional applications such as breads, cakes, biscuits, and noodles Providing creative and effective technical support to key customers and high-potential projects Contributing as an active member of an international team of technical experts Working closely with R&D, Marketing and Sales to deliver customized solutions for relevant industrial applications and growth opportunitiesAs an ideal candidate for this role, you should have... A degree in Food Science or other related discipline Preferably 1-3 years of work experience in baking industry or other relevant field Knowledge and experience on confectionery applications like biscuits, crackers, pastries, and other bakery-related applications such as cakes and noodles. Knowledge on food safety and food sensory evaluations Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to details Creative, innovative and passion for baking Good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent written and spoken English skills. Proficiency in other languages is an extra point.
