Your opportunity This role leverages planning and analysis expertise to maximize sales, inventory and profitability. Responsible for control of merchandise management in DOS stores according to sales targets and forecasting. Provide analytical support to the Merchandising Director and Buyers to build a balanced and profitable assortment. Responsible for control of merchandise management in DOS stores according to sales targets and forecasting. Provide analytical support to the Merchandising Director and Buyers to build a balanced and profitable assortment. How you will contribute - Responsible for forecast of carry-over and permanent product to sustain the growth and in line with the business development plans for the region - Closely work with stakeholders on all the new projects and existing stores on allocation, distribution and ensuring timely delivery - Produce weekly/monthly inventory management reports, analyze and communicate findings to key stakeholders - Coordinate and facilitate stock transfers between stores/countries and ensure shipments/deliveries are fulfilled by working closely with the local logistics teams - Partner with the Buyers to track sales performance and actively manage inventory levels, identify under/overstock risks. This includes reorders on key items and major launches, recommending top-up orders, and/or canceling orders - Maintain category sales projections and optimize inventory flow to retail stores to ensure sales targets are met Who you are - Degree in Economics, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics desired - Minimum 5 years planning experience preferred Experience of accounting function or inventory control in retail/fashion industry is an advantage - Demonstrated working knowledge of retail inventory and financial measures/KPI (Sell-through, weeks of supply/coverage, inventory turnaround, markdowns, mark-ups, OTB) - Highly analytical, strong aptitude with numbers and clear understanding of retail math - Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines - Highly proficient PC skills, in particular Excel - Enjoys working in team and multi-cultural environment Why work with us This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Balenciaga philosophy and to become part of a team that offers possibilities to learn and grow.
