An exciting Blockchain, Associate/VP job has just become available at a global venture capital firm based in Singapore. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Partner, who is based in the US.

About the Blockchain, Associate/VP Role:
You will be part of a global team based in both Singapore and the US, to work on research and analytical preparations to support investment decision-makings in the blockchain technology space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of investment materials by synthesising due diligence analysis to present potential investments to investment committees for approval
• Perform business due diligence including analysis of customers, competition, business models, review of financial statements, and valuation analyses
• Perform risk analysis of the potential investments (market, liquidity, legal, compliance, operational risk, reputation risk, counterparty risks, country risks)
• Support the team in sourcing new potential investments, managing deal pipeline, and screening
• Execute investments including the negotiating of the terms of financial instruments in coordination with internal legal team and external law firms
• Support the team in monitoring the portfolio companies (startups) and provide advice for business development to support their growth
• Develop and execution of exit strategies of the portfolio companies (listing or buyouts)

To succeed in this Blockchain, Associate/VP role, you must have extensive experience within venture capital firms managing the end-to-end process of a deal, from preparing the investment materials and conducting due diligence checks, all the way to execution strategies of the deals and monitoring the portfolio companies. The right candidate must also be able to showcase knowledge in blockchain and a clear passion for growing in the field.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree and/or master\'s degree
• At least five years of relevant experience in venture capital or global investment firms (MAS-registered funds)
• Strong understanding of and interest in blockchain (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cardano, Quorum, Hyperledger Fabric, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Confident interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
