Job Description
Basic Function: * Supervises, directs and coordinates the activities of the Branch Accounting Unit * Maintains complete and accurate accounting records * Monitors limits and requirements pres Basic Function: Supervises, directs and coordinates the activities of the Branch Accounting Unit Maintains complete and accurate accounting records Monitors limits and requirements prescribed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Liaise with the Branch external auditors/Head Office Accounting Group on the filing and publication of year-end financial statements with MAS, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore Prepares the Branch's annual operating and capital expenditure budget, in consultation with General Manager and other officers Ensures timely submission of daily/periodic reports to MAS, Head Office and Group Head Eliminates and monitors resolution of temporary accounts such as Account Receivable, Accounts Payable Ensures the immediate resolution of float items reflected in the Branch's books and those contained in the reconcilement report for inter-office and foreign correspondent accounts Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Minimum 3 years relevant banking experience.
