Brand Jewellery And Product Designer
Job Description
As a brand jewellery and product designer, you are responsible for professional execution and presentation of design concepts (jadeite jewellery and home ornaments).
Key responsibilities:
Has a good understanding of brand imagery and is able to convey them through design
Design our ready-to-wear jewellery collections as well as one-of-a kind bespoke jewellery
Manage the bespoke designs through to production of the jewellery
Create 3D scaled drawings and technical specifications of jewellery pieces and collections
Able to communicate ideas freely and openly with the team
Create successful designs that are marketable and meet the brand objectives
Extensive research for inspiration and formulating original ideas
Create designs that upholds the highest standards of quality
A strong knowledge of gemstones (especially Jade/Jadeite) is a huge advantage
Requirements:
A diploma or degree in Fashion, Design or Jewellery related fields preferred
At least 2 years of experience in designing jewellery and/or working with jewellery designers
Familiar with CAD, Rhino, or other 3D Modelling tools is a plus
Impeccable knowledge of the jewellery industry
Always keeping up to date with the latest jewellery trends
Technical drawings required for production
Knowledge of gemmology is a plus
