Job Description
As a brand jewellery and product designer, you are responsible for professional execution and presentation of design concepts (jadeite jewellery and home ornaments).Key responsibilities: Has a good understanding of brand imagery and is able to convey them through designDesign our ready-to-wear jewellery collections as well as one-of-a kind bespoke jewelleryManage the bespoke designs through to production of the jewelleryCreate 3D scaled drawings and technical specifications of jewellery pieces and collectionsAble to communicate ideas freely and openly with the teamCreate successful designs that are marketable and meet the brand objectivesExtensive research for inspiration and formulating original ideasCreate designs that upholds the highest standards of qualityA strong knowledge of gemstones (especially Jade/Jadeite) is a huge advantageRequirements: A diploma or degree in Fashion, Design or Jewellery related fields preferredAt least 2 years of experience in designing jewellery and/or working with jewellery designersFamiliar with CAD, Rhino, or other 3D Modelling tools is a plusImpeccable knowledge of the jewellery industryAlways keeping up to date with the latest jewellery trendsTechnical drawings required for productionKnowledge of gemmology is a plus
