The Bread Baker is responsible for preparing, mixing, shaping, and baking various types of breads and rolls in accordance with company recipes and quality standards. The role ensures all baked goods meet food-safety, freshness, and presentation requirements, while maintaining efficiency and cleanliness in the production area.


Key Responsibilities:



Prepare doughs by measuring and mixing ingredients such as flour, yeast, sugar, and salt according to standard recipes. Operate and maintain bakery equipment including mixers, proofers, ovens, and slicers safely and efficiently. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality. Shape, mould, and score loaves, rolls, and specialty breads prior to baking. Check the quality of raw ingredients and finished products; discard or report defects. Follow strict

food-safety (SFA / HACCP / SS 590)

and workplace hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment. Assist in inventory management and ensure correct labelling, storage, and rotation of ingredients. * Support product development for new bread types or seasonal items when required.
