To lead the efforts in building customer base through lead generation initiatives that could eventually lead to partnerships with strategic clients/merchants.
Arrange the visit to target areas for face to face merchant acquisition.
Use available digital channels to reach target clients offering our solution and understanding their needs
Achieve the sales target every month, every quarter.
Present and sell products offered by the company to current and potential clients.
Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the deal
Finding and improving new markets and improving sales.
Attends industry functions such as association events and conferences for networking and provides feedback and information on market and industry trends.
Work with the Business Development Managers to develop new concepts and products based on Customer Insights.
Lead and ensure that all aspects of the sales and business development life cycle from negotiating with potential partners, accreditation, on-boarding, actual implementation and deployment, and to managing stakeholder relationship are done
What You'll Need:
Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Experience in merchant acquisition and management
At least 2-3 years industry experience in either/combination of ecommerce, telecommunications, fintech, logistics, IT-enabled services, digital marketing, or related industries
Latest experience from international/local logistics provider catering to e-commerce marketplaces, experience in acquiring new merchants
Preferably with local connection to merchant hotspots in Manila (e.g.Binondo)
Must be able to speak Chinese (e.g. Fukien, Mandarin)
Willing to do office and field works, specifically merchant hotspots in Manila
Excellent in gathering data or research for new ideas
Excellent Judgement and Decision- Making Skills. Must be able to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
Should have impressive track record in closing and brokering deals and contracts - should be able to draft win-win partnership proposals, create string financial business case, review and formulate contracts and agreements
Confident and assertive in dealing with stakeholders of different levels
Self-starter, can perform with minimal supervision, and is a fast learner.
Creative thinker, solution oriented and quick decision maker
Fundamental knowledge of strategic management functions, particularly in marketing, finance, operations, product design/development
Impeccable verbal and written English communication skills
