Who are we hiring?

Instant is looking for a dynamic, focused, and ambitious Business Development Director to help grow the Instant business.

As Business Development Director you will be responsible for driving client growth from targeted existing and prospective clients. You will be required to strategically sell at multiple levels and develop, present, and agree solutions that help our clients solve their business problems, while driving commercial and business value for Instant.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities in order for Instant to meet its projected revenue targets.
  • Development of those opportunities with the relevant support within Instant and direct responsibility for ensuring that opportunities are won for the business.
  • Responsible for identifying winnable solutions in chosen markets.
  • An ability to plan short, medium and long term clients and their revenue streams are important for this role
  • Differentiate and position the organisation\'s point of view and value proposition across the market and specifically within target organisations.
  • Work tenaciously through and around obstacles to solutions that deliver impressive value
  • Qualify opportunities quickly to focus on high value business
  • Develop commercial propositions with the support of the wider team at Instant that will drive the greatest value for Instant and our clients
  • This role is for a strategic super sales person who will be responsible for networking, originating and pitching Instant and its products to target clients.
  • Responsibility for developing propositions and proposals to suit clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
  • An evangeliser and ambassador for Instant and its product offerings.
  • Build the appropriate Instant team around the opportunity so that it results in increased deals, revenues and profits.
  • Responsible for inputting, maintain and tracking all BD activities thru our CRM system. The Business Development professional should strive to inspire and impact the culture of the business, actively adding value to both our prospective clients and extended team members.
  • Accountable for maintaining and developing relationships with our operators partners in targeted markets.
What are we looking for?
  • Proven track record of building relationships at C-level with significant demonstrable business development success with mid cap and large corporate companies
  • Experience in an associated business development role within the Property or Services industry with a proven track record of having worked in a consultative environment.
  • Ability to build effective business relationships at all levels both externally and internally through effective sales conversations and presentations.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer contact networks across organisations
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver to stretching target, and a tenacious commercial sense that drives commercial success of the organisation
What skills do you require?
  • It is essential that the suitable candidate has the requisite drive, enthusiasm, ambition to make an impact in a tough and competitive property market.
  • A knack for thinking creatively when faced with challenges with good business acumen \xe2\x80\x93 understand the difference between cost and value.
  • Easily able to articulate solution not product with a hungry, inquisitive and detailed disposition.
  • Assertive with excellent listening and coaching skills - business focussed and forward-thinking.
  • A proven business development record and a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets.
  • A strong planner with excellent presentation skills.
  • Well-presented, have excellent communication skills, be personable and easy to build rapport with, consultative in their approach and able to work well as part of a team as well as independently.
  • A passion for uncovering opportunities and stone turning is essential.
  • Be a top performer in a business to business sales capacity.
  • Enjoy working in a target orientated position.
  • A strong networker and excellent communicator; articulate, confident, positive and professional at all times.
