Adecco is collaborating with a prominent player in the global freight forwarding industry to hire a Business Development Manager, tasked with driving the expansion of their freight business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing, expanding, and securing freight business within a designated portfolio of both new and existing customers.

• Salary: Up to $9,000 + Transportation Allowance + AWS + Commission
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

The Job:

• Proactively identifying potential clients and key decision-makers within the freight industry.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Capable of comprehending the intricacies of customer supply chains, identifying pain points, and effectively promoting tailored solutions while showcasing their value to customers corrective measures as needed
• Provide input on possible enhancements to existing processes.
• Understand the local market trends and engage in the negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.
• Responsible for adhering to customer qualification and onboarding protocols, which encompass credit setup and coordinating contracts for customers.

The Talent:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
• Min. 3 - 4 years prior industry-related business development experience and local market practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
