The Opportunity:Adecco has partnered with a worldwide leader in the 3PL industry and is actively seeking exceptional talent to fill the role of Business Development Manager. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, the successful incumbent will be leading a team of 2 to spearhead the business expansion activities such as securing new 3PL businesses within the healthcare industry.

• Salary: Up to $9,000 + Transportation Allowance + Commission + Variable bonus
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 6 pm)

The Job:

• Leading, monitoring, and guiding the Sales team
• Present solutions to address challenges and secure new business opportunities, as well as expand existing business, across Air, Ocean, and Cross-Border trucking segments
• Conduct market research independently to identify and compile a list of new or potential customers
• Collaborate with the Air/Ocean operations team to investigate the root cause of irregular occurrences and develop effective countermeasures
• Supervise RFQ management with the RFQ team and formulate rate proposals for customers in both the Air and Ocean business sectors.
• Executing sales initiatives in accordance with company-defined targets.
• Discovering market prospects through meetings, networking activities, and various communication avenues

The Talent:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
• Min. 3 - 4 years in the Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry with exposure to Sales and Business Development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
