About the job:

This role is responsible for the development and execution of business strategy for the Spine, Enabling Technology and Orthopedics franchise for the Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia markets through the indirect channels, to meet growth targets and deliver levels of service and professionalism consistent with the strategic plan across the region.

What you will be doing:

Sales

  • Manage & implement local sales tactics & execution per year in line with franchise and country objectives.
  • Achieve sales and growth targets for existing Spine & Enabling Technology businesses through management of indirect channels and direct sales
  • Builds and executes business development plans; identify and onboard new channel partners for Orthopeadic franchises (Joint Replacement, Trauma & Extremities, Spine) in new markets
  • Create & maintain relationships with key hospital stake holders including but not limited to:
  • Chief Executives
  • Procurement
  • KOL\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Maintain appropriate levels of company quality service
  • Corporate policy, legislation and quality compliance to meet national and international standards.
  • Appropriate risk and asset management across all areas of responsibility
Marketing
  • Manage & Implement local marketing tactics & execution per year in line with county objectives.
  • Professionally plan product launches, obsolescence and recalls partnering with RAQA.
  • Management of HCP interactions ensuring compliance is adhered.
  • Manage yearly needs assessment.
  • Create & maintain market factbook broken down by franchises
  • Work closely with operations team to ensure stock level forecasting is in line with proposed marketing plans e.g. product launches, deletions etc
  • Training & Education: Sales Staff
  • Create & implement training plans for distributor sales teams
  • Ensure that training records are properly kept & logged as per Stryker QMS
  • Professional Education: Surgical Staff
  • Manage annual needs assessment
  • Create local training opportunities for junior surgeons
Leadership/ Engagement:
  • Demonstrates cross-department cooperation and efficiency
  • Responsible to live and exemplify Stryker\xe2\x80\x99s Values; Integrity, Accountability, People, and Performance.
  • Ability to connect with people of all levels of external companies from Managing Director of large indirect channel partners to the dealership staff and proprietors of smaller channel partners.

Who are we looking for:
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of Business Development or Sales experience in the Medical Device business.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management while advancing the success of the operations in support of the overall regional and corporate objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability in accelerating the rate of change in shaping the culture of a for-profit organization.
  • Experience in a high-growth, lean organization strongly preferred.
  • Experienced with both managing distributors and direct selling.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experienced in executing go-to- market plans, pricing, training, development, product launch & lifecycle management.
  • Proven record of working with business complexity and able to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management while advancing the success of the operations in support of the overall country, regional and corporate objectives.
  • Track record of creative approaches and imaginative solutions that meet real business needs.
  • Experience of working in a US or International organization and building the relationships required to succeed.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work to agreed deadlines and an attention for detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication; including presentation skills-demonstrated ability to be clear and concise.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; comfortable with dealing with various levels of internal and external stakeholders, maintaining relationships with divisional personnel and develo.ping strong relationships with AsiaPac and Corporate teams
  • Positive and optimistic. Personal drive and focus motivates and inspires others.
  • Proactive and result orientated, with ability to take decisions and deliver high quality results quickly when necessary and resilience to challenge/be challenged.
  • Cultural empathy and agility. Able to work in complex environments with the ability to navigate sensitive cultural issues
