Job Overview



We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead market research, procurement, and sales operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supply chain management, business expansion, and market analysis, with a proven ability to drive strategic growth and manage key partnerships.


Job Responsibilities



Formulate procurement and sales plans for oils and oilseeds; execute upon approval and ensure achievement of established targets. Conduct comprehensive research on supplier and customer requirements, product developments, market trends, industry dynamics, and relevant policies; prepare and submit timely reports. Develop, expand, and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and customers to support sustainable growth. Perform regular analysis of supply and demand conditions; prepare summaries and present findings to management for informed decision-making. Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and customers; draft, review, and finalize contracts; monitor execution to ensure compliance with agreed terms. Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements



Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates). Minimum 10 years of experience in agricultural commodities trading, with proven expertise in oils and oilseeds. At least 5 years of experience in team management, with demonstrated leadership and people development skills. A strong understanding of the palm oil supply chain and market dynamics is preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with a results-driven mindset. * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing high-pressure tasks with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
