Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic sales team, specialising in the domain name, security, brand and fraud protection space. This role will be based in our Singapore office. As a BDR, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to revenue growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, enjoys engaging with customers, and is looking to progress into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role in the future.

Responsibilities: * Prospecting, Lead Generation and Quota Delivery

  • Conduct proactive outbound prospecting activities, such as cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, to identify potential customers and generate sales leads
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to determine their fit and potential as prospective clients
  • Research and gather market intelligence to identify new target industries, verticals, and potential customers
  • Delivering on KPI and sales quota
  • Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers (BDMs) to conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations for prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our offerings
  • Initiate and maintain regular communication with prospective customers to understand their needs, educate them about our products or services, and promote the value proposition of our solutions
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target accounts
  • Assist the BDMs in developing tailored strategies and solutions for individual prospects
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and prospect information in the CRM system
  • Track and manage sales leads, opportunities, and follow-up activities to ensure a steady flow of qualified prospects and progress through the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and address any potential roadblocks or challenges in the sales process
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the sales team, and other stakeholders to align sales efforts with overall business objectives
  • Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to help refine marketing strategies, product development, and customer service initiatives
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, sales techniques, and market insights to enhance team performance
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in both English and Chinese, Japanese is a plus
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
  • Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a high volume of leads
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software tools for lead management and pipeline tracking is a plus
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about the industry and market trends
