REMOTE WEST COAST BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR POSITION

*Attention all WEST COAST based Business Development professionals*

Are you looking for a new opportunity with a small CDMO with a new and exciting growth plan? Well, you have come to the right place!

I am partnered with a small, U.S. based CDMO who is looking to add a Business Development Director to their team on the West Coast. This position is an individual contributor position and will require you to be hunter!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of business development strategies to expand the customer base and increase revenue growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including industry trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape
• Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs, to identify and evaluate opportunities for new business
• Manage the business development team, including setting targets, providing training and support, and conducting performance evaluations
• Develop and deliver presentations to potential customers and key stakeholders to promote capabilities and services
• Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure alignment between business development goals and overall company strategy

Qualifications:

• Experience working at a SMALL MOLECULE CDMO
• Bachelor\'s Degree in a relevant field
• 8+ years of experience in business development within the pharmaceutical industry
• Proven track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing processes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing a team
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
