Market assessment and development

• Analyse market trends to make insightful buying decisions.
• Identifying, developing, setting up new processes and exploring new business opportunities with suppliers/vendors to achieve continuous growth.
• Plan and develop strategies to achieve monthly sales within budget
• Coordinate and brainstorm on launch product campaigns and product push
• To source/develop a new product line for the market.

• To source and select local/overseas suppliers according to market opportunities and company requirements.
• Ensure maximum turnover by negotiating the best deals and pricing with supplier
• To collaborate with external parties and suppliers and support the onboarding process.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers

• Review and monitor category assortment performance and implement various action plans for improvement.
• Forecasting of new product demand and reviewing product pricing to ensure they meet margins target with healthy growth.
• To manage and coordinate the entire importing and logistics process from ordering to fulfilment.
• To ensure the product quality is according to purchase requirements.
• To liaise closely with the Operations/Sales team regarding inventory matters and re-orders.

• To work closely with the Sales team on existing and new products to sell.
• Representing the company at sales and marketing conventions, campaigns and trade shows
• Report generation and presentation.
• Performs additional duties as required.

• Min. Diploma and above in Sales & Marketing, Business or equivalent with at least 4 -5 years of relevant experience preferably in fresh produce/grocery
• Able to work in a demanding and ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
• Strong mentoring and coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise
• Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
• A willingness and desire to assist in unrelated and/or unassigned tasks to ensure the effective operation
• Must be a problem solver and be capable of identifying areas of efficiency.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
