Job Description


Overall Role Purpose

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, Singapore, you will provide operational HR expertise to the Global functions based in Singapore.

  • Act as a consultant and HR Business Partner to support the Global and Regional Functions on HR matters
  • Advise Global heads on strategic HR issues, recommend best practices aligned with local legislation and corporate/country policies
  • Support the design and implementation of initiatives/cross country projects
  • Represent employee issues and concerns and facilitate resolving conflicting interests between the parties involved
  • Handle disciplinary matters effectively
  • Prioritise and execute HR operations in line with business goals
  • Facilitate the Talent & Pereformance Management process
  • Leverage on proven sourcing channels for recruitment including adopting behavioral/competency-based screening and administer assessment tools (where required), offer employment terms and conditions for GHO HR's consideration to attract, retain and motivate employees.
  • Facilitate CIS Foundation and Welcome to My Country (Singapore) and support the deployment of CIS Cross Functional modules
  • Support implementation of mandatory courses, e-learning programs as well as provide alternative learning opportunities to employees
  • Promote and coordinate the annual Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) and facilitate its effective follow up and monitoring of action plans
  • Drive employee engagement and communication activities
  • Ensure labour practices are aligned to local practices
People Management
  • Develop a high performance culture and level of motivation within the team
Job Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications: Degree in Business (or related discipline, i.e. Economics, Management, etc)
  • Expected years of experience (Minimum): 5 years of HR experience with managerial exposure
  • Broad range of HR experience in learning/ rewards & remuneration/ talent management/ HRIS/ HR strategy & planning (preferably in minimum 3 areas)
  • Experience in global/ MNC with industry-knowledge is preferred
  • Specialist HR qualification, post-graduate diploma or certificate will be an added advantage
