Business Immigration Specialist \xe2\x80\x93 APAC Global

Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for a Business Immigration Specialist- APAC Global to join our International Practice in Singapore.

  • Manage a high volume of immigration casework from start to finish (priority = Singapore inbound/in country).
  • Ensure all application forms and documentations are complete and ready for submission with the relevant authority (i.e., Ministry of Manpower).
  • Advise client on immigration criteria and application processes.
  • Provide advice to clients in line with Ministry of Manpower and Immigration & Checkpoints Authority regulations.
  • Conducted immigration-related research regarding various immigration laws and regulations from APAC countries to provide business friendly solutions to the clients.
  • Perform daily client reporting, billing, and data updates.
  • Navigate the various client dashboards to include data analyses and reporting.
  • Create visa packages, prepare letters, and engage with local counsels where needed.
  • Partner with the internal client teams on business immigration audits, document maintenance and process improvements.
  • Manage multiples projects to improve output quality, compliance and improve services for EIG International Practice (IP).
  • Follow all client global mobility processes, policies and ensure all systems and documentation are kept up to date.
  • Consults directly with client Recruiters, Business Partners, and Hiring Managers to help guide them through the mobility process and client policy.
  • Consults with and supports client employees, directly, providing the best possible customer support.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Possess experience managing and submitting Singapore specific applications, including but not limited to employment pass, S pass, dependent pass, and long-term visit pass applications.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, associate degree, or Paralegal Certification.
  • Minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in business immigration work (as a Business Immigration Paralegal, Corporate Mobility Coordinator, Global Mobility Specialist, or Relocation Specialist).
  • Speak, read, and write in English fluently, with the ability to professionally communicate, verbally and in writing, with clear, concise, and grammatically correct content and form.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas and client processes in APAC countries (Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines, China, India).
  • Ability to learn new countries\xe2\x80\x99 immigration schemes.
  • Experience working with business immigration schemes of multiple countries.
  • A client service mindset, attention to detail and desire to achieve a high level of productivity.
  • Mindset driven by data and processes.
  • Proficient in the use of web-based immigration case management systems (such as Litify) and other reporting tools and technologies used to manage data and information and create BI Reports, continuously and accurately.
  • Expert working knowledge of and proficiency with the use of Microsoft applications, particularly MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts, and creating presentations in Power Point.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain performance level in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priority levels and specific deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor.
  • Ability to pivot with competing priorities and projects.
  • Ability to adapt to the workflow for the team of Attorneys.
  • Ability to work within strict timelines and effectively communicate effectively.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork.
