Are you adept at understanding the financials, resourcing and governance requirem Your role : Do you have a business management background with hands-on experience in a cross functional environment Are you adept at understanding the financials, resourcing and governance requirements of a large investment manager Do you have a knack for driving and executing business strategy We're looking for a Business Management & Operations Specialist to: . be an expert on UBS Asset Management's direct real estate platform in Asia Pacific . assist with the collation of inputs to regional financial forecasting as well various other reporting and resourcing tasks . manage external service providers to achieve internal and external deadlines including banks, auditors, tax advisors, property managers and administrators . periodically review and streamline business processes with a view to achieving efficiencies and cost reductions . assist with the preparation of fund budgets and forecasts . support the portfolio management team on new acquisitions and dispositions . assist leadership in developing, coordinating and evaluating business strategy and planning Your team : You'll be working in a dynamic team across APAC and will have strong interaction with real estate portfolio managers, business development and legal, as well as many other internal support/control functions. As the central point of contact for internal requests, enquiries and projects - you will be an expert on the APAC real estate platform AUM, clients, financials, resourcing and strategy. Your expertise : . a Finance / accounting professional qualification with at least 5 years experience (Real estate specific preferred) . a strong ability to multi-task and effectively manage projects under a continued sense of urgency . a collaborative personality, with the ability to synthesize inputs from multiple sources . strong analytical skills able to understand, question and challenge a range of financial data . medium/advanced level expertise in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint . a strong written and verbal communicator, adept at articulating views in a concise and confident manner . an expert at building networks and connections . a proactive, results-driven and flexible individual
