Summary

Purpose:
As an integral and key member of the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) Greater Asia team, the SEA Business Manager will be expected to be well-versed and resourced to build and share market knowledge for fields involving Infusion and Dispensing products / solutions including and not limited to Distributor Management practices, customer / end-user pricing, competitor overviews and market / segment trends. The successful candidate will be working within a matrixed organization and responsible as well to develop and support the integrated marketing plans at SEA region / country level. This role encompasses the responsibility for the creation, execution, and management of tactical and strategic business programs to drive sustainable brand consumption and profitable growth in the region.
Job Responsibilities:


  • Manage and lead BD MMS (Infusion & Dispensing) direct team and distributor representatives to implement and execute business strategy to support BD customers in the SEA geographical region / countries.

  • Understand the relevant economic, market, competitor and industry trends in GA, more specifically and of higher priority will be SEA as a region and the respective SEA countries and to use trends and data to build, strategize and maximize growth opportunities and minimize business risk exposures

  • Collaborate and partner with Clinical team of Specialist to ensure quality delivery of BD MMS products and solutions to customers, including all relevant training to end users

  • Close partnership with Marketing function, including Product Managers in brand positioning and leading omni-channel marketing efforts to improve brand perception and drive sales performance

  • Develop and lead in local / SEA regional customer engagement events and workshops, including digital reach-out events like webinars and online forums

  • Design and execute GTM strategies in SEA for BD MMS business with close partnership and key inputs from Country Leadership team and Regional Medical Segment Leaders for SEA

  • Support the development of country strategic marketing plans that contribute to the achievement of volume/mix, revenue and margin objectives/budget in alignment with SEA business objectives

  • Develop potential new product / solution portfolios in targeted country market segments to drive profitable and sustainable growth

  • Drive implementation of GA marketing strategy, where applicable, in alignment to the broader Global MMS & specific segment strategies

  • Grow brand advocacy amongst expert healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders and customers to strengthen differentiation versus competitors

  • Own SEA region and individual country sales, marketing and overall business key reporting processes such as Annual Business Plaining, Budget discussions, Demand Forecasting and monthly business revenue and financials projections

  • Prepare regular sales and revenue forecasts with strong and tight co-ordination with supply chain and manufacturing in order to ensure timely and credible delivery and fulfillment of orders to customers / distributors and in maintaining healthy inventory levels and tight inventory control.

  • Model BD values & behaviors and strong compliance with all BD codes of practice

Skills and knowledge

  • Strong knowledge and expertise in medical equipment and devices

  • People management experience with good track record of mentoring / coaching

  • Strong strategic thinking, execution and result oriented in a highly competitive market

  • Experience in distributor management and customer tendering procedures

  • Good understanding of project management

  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing field

  • Flexibility and adaptability in changing business environments

  • Commitment to teamwork and co-operation and international outlook and cultural sensitivity

  • Accepts personal responsibility with high credibility in delivery of commitments, both within the business and in personal development and individual G&Os

  • High ethical values

  • Confidence to deliver presentations both to internal and external stakeholders, especially to customers and C-suite executives

  • Good communication skills to work effectively with all associate levels within and across the organization

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)

  • Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation, target orientation and a drive to achieve results

  • Good IT skills

Qualifications

  • University Degree/MBA or other relevant Post Graduate qualification preferably in Business/Marketing

  • 8+ years related regional marketing experience preferably in Consumer Healthcare industry or Consumer Medical Device industry

  • Ability to travel as and when required by the business
