Job Summary You will be involved to maintain and support for a number of applications including but not limited to Avaloq - the core banking system used by Wealth Management (WM) Asia Business and Functional units.What is the opportunity?As the Business Operations Support Specialist (12 month contract), you will be involved to maintain and support for a number of applications including but not limited to Avaloq - the core banking system used by Wealth Management (WM) Asia Business and Functional units.What will you do?

• Works with the application support team lead and other team members as a team, to ensure safety and soundness of application environments for daily operations based on the SLA
• Provide L1 and L2 functional and technical support to the end users across multi-functional and geographic areas
• Manage complexity well and coordinate information and activities among groups with differing agendas, across multi-functional and geographic areas
• Support daily Day End Process, investigate and resolve when issue arise
• Coordinate with vendor or L2/3 to resolve production issues and communicate with end users
• Conduct UAT and PIV for adhoc or monthly release

What do you need to succeed?Must-have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent is a nice-to-have, but not essential
• The role would typically require 1-2 years of experience in application support or business analysis role in banking/ brokerage/ investment industry
• Ability to quickly familiarise oneself with knowledge of international business units, regulations, pressures, requirements
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analysis skills

Nice-to-have

• Experience working with remote teams in global banks, and able to handle complex matrix structure
• Experience of Avaloq is nice-to-have
• Good knowledge of trading connectivity and market infrastructure
• Practical knowledge of financial markets and applicable regulations
