Job Description

As a Business Planning and Reporting Manager in the Consumer Division, you will play a critical role in reporting and analyzing publication and subscription sales to Management, Editorial teams and Business teams. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Support, and work closely with the business teams and users and be part of a dynamic team providing business support for the division.

The Job:

• Responsible for timely and accurate submission of regular and ad hoc reports to Management and authorities
• Design and build dashboards for Management Reporting and KPI tracking
• Prepare annual budget and costing analysis for Consumer Division
• Monitor utilization rate of budget and explain for cost and revenue variances
• Work with the Finance team to ensure correct reporting data and analyse revenue and costs for the Division
• Work with Management to formulate and analyse KPIs for the Division and various business teams
• Conduct a spectrum of business planning functions including sales performance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, revenue forecasting, promotional campaigns analysis, market environment scanning and market research surveys
• Liaise with both internal/external auditors and business teams to ensure audit compliance
• Ensure the proper management of all contracts and documents as the Overall Contract Administrator for Consumer Division

Job Requirements

• Good degree in Finance/ Business/Economics/Statistics/Engineering
• At least 5 years experience in Business Planning / Management Reporting
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to organise large amounts of data and interpret market trends
• Experience in building dashboards (preferably Tableau)
• Experience with Statistical tools and surveys would be an advantage
• Strong written and communication skills
• Team player who is able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Highly-driven and able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
