Job Description

As Head of the Business Support team, you will be responsible to provide a wide spectrum of business support services from order processing, management reporting, budgeting, analytics, billing and accounting, IT projects and systems management to audit compliance. You will oversee the daily operation of the Consumer Division and ensure the efficiency of the processes and systems, analyze performance and propose recommendations for business improvements.

The Job

• Supervise a team of business support staff on daily operations, reporting, systems, billing, finance matters and data analytics
• Work with the management team on strategic planning and KPIs
• Play an important role in ensuring core systems are effective, relevant and user friendly. Work with SPHTech to ensure existing systems continue to be stable and serve the needs of internal Business users and our customers
• Drive and deliver high priority IT projects in a timely manner, within budget and with the right quality by fostering partnership with stakeholders, technology counterparts and vendors to articulate project objectives, develop and execute project plans
• In-depth analysis of business issues and provide data support to enable operational decisions, marketing strategies and product directions
• Design and continue improvement to dashboard reporting and increase data usability
• Use data to help advise teams on changes, best practices, simplification of processes, manage databases and systems
• Responsible for timely and accurate reporting to management and authorities
• Coordinate the budgeting and financial planning process for the Division
• Work with the Finance team to ensure correct reporting data and analyse revenue and costs for the Division
• Lead the auditing activities of the Division to ensure they are appropriately managed and comply with applicable regulations

Job Requirements

• Good degree in Finance/ Business/ Engineering
• Experience with Financial Accounting and Project Management are preferred
• Strong track record in related work scope
• Strong business acumen and commercial outlook, numerate and analytical
• Effective leadership with good people management skills
• Understanding of tech would be useful in order to be able to make decisions and recommendations that may require technical knowledge
• Team player who is able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Highly-driven and able to work under pressure in fast-paced environment
