We are looking for a highly talented Business Process Excellence & Transformation (BPE&T) Specialist, APAC to join our regional team in Singapore to support the delivery of strategic initiatives and project management office. The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor, a strong team player and a process mindset – comfortable supporting a team and working closely with all levels of people at foodpanda.
Responsibilities: You will report to the Head of Platform Finance Transformation. This role will also work very closely with various internal stakeholders such as; Process Owners, Finance Operations, Central Finance Transformation & Automation and Finance Systems. Your core deliverables/ responsibilities include:

• Understand initiatives related to an inhouse operating system and identify the impact on Finance processes, systems and data
• Work closely with stakeholders (e.g. Commerical Teams) in the design, training and testing of new feature launch in the region to drive process improvements and rollout tactical initiatives
• Responsible for monitoring the status of Central driven initiatives and keeping local stakeholders up to date
• Document business processes using industry-standard business process modelling notations BPMN 2.0
• Actively participate and provide hands-on support during problem identification sessions, to help capture and document problems, major issues and actionable opportunities
• Continually look for opportunities to support the team's service offering with a focus on repeatable, scalable, exportable practices and tools
• Facilitate to-be design discussions for process performance improvements
• Liaise with analytics teams to understand process performance and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements: Basic Qualifications:

• University degree in IT, Finance, Business Management or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience Big4, Management Consulting (specifically within Finance Advisory)

Preferred Qualifications / Experiences:

• Working experience in project management and stakeholder management.
• Previous experience in finance-related system implementation, especially in an agile environment or business analytics is a plus.
• Familiar with hypothesis driven approach and drive workshops to gather requirements/identify business problems.
• Familiar with BPMN 2.0 and leveraging tools such as Signavio, ARIS or a like.

• Strong commercial awareness, strong critical thinking skills and high attention to details.
• Energetic and highly motivated, with a business driven and growth mindset.
• Basic programming skills, SQL, and Tableau a plus.
• Proficient with Google Suite and/or Microsoft applications for analysis and reporting
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• A creative mindset and a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom. You love creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation
