Business Support Specialist, Pricing

Job Description
The Pricing Support Specialist works with complex data sets to help the business identify and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals. This role requires close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive sales and to ensure DSV remains competitive.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze pricing data
- Develop forecasts and models
- Monitor industry trends
- Create pricing tools
- Support RFPs/RFQs based on defined pricing models, client bid requirements, and submit within the prescribed timeline
- Coordinate with business development, sales, customer service, and operations to develop the best quote possible all the time
- Develop strategic recommendations based on market trends and competitive landscape
- Monitor and meet Key Performance Indexes (KPIs)
QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED)
- Completed at least 3 years in college
- Proficient in the English language both oral and written
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Analytical thinker
- Problem-solver
- Quality and process-oriented
- Able to handle multiple tasks and changing requirements
- Ability to work in a diverse and global team environment
- Amenable to work in shifting schedules or as required by the business
- Effective at managing conflict and maintaining a professional demeanor even under pressure
- Preferably with 6 months Freight Forwarding or Customer Service experience
- Experience in pricing is an advantage
