In this critical position, you will be based in Singapore, cover both SG and Brunei Market, and report to the Managing Director of Human Health Business. As a member of the Cluster Leadership Team (CLT), the role will provide leadership, influence, vision, sales and marketing expertise, and direction to contribute to helping exceed top and bottom-line results in the annual and 5-year Strategy Plan. You will lead, shape, implement, and continually assess the sales, marketing, and account management competency development to improve the productivity & impact of the vaccine\'s commercial functions.

What will you do:

Accountabilities:

You will have direct responsibility for the organization\'s day-to-day sales and marketing activities, with the assistance of key local (non-reporting) support functions, including Medical, Regulatory, Supply Chain/Logistics, and finance. Responsible for achieving the company\'s short-term and long-term sales, profits, share, and growth objectives.

Develop and maintain a highly competent & competitive organization concerning both its structure and personnel, ensuring that qualified successors are available for key positions.

Create short and long-range objectives to increase the sales and profitability of the company. Work on contingency plans to anticipate the adverse impact of unforeseen events or circumstances.

Keep abreast of current business and economic policies that might affect the organization.

Establish and coordinate the sales and marketing objectives, policies, and programs within the context of the overall corporate plan and, where appropriate, recommend standards and set targets and quotas.

Direct the preparation of marketing plans, sales plans, key customer strategies, and sales forecasts and budgets. Ensure effective utilization of sales analytics, promotional budgets, and resources to enhance organizational reputation within the appropriate market.

Responsibility for the commercialization of the division\'s product portfolio, defining market policies and strategies to be implemented to achieve established objectives.

Direct the preparation of operational matters, including market research, advertising, promotion, distribution, pricing, and selling.

Maintain necessary contact with major suppliers, customers, industry associations, and government representatives to achieve the division\'s objectives.

Ensuring all business activity complies with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards.

Provide strategic direction and leadership to sales management, sales representatives, brand managers, and other marketing staff to ensure an effectively integrated and productive team. Effectively lead and manage staff, including setting objectives, rewarding and recognizing performance, and training and developing expertise.

Supervision:

In the first instance, this role has management responsibility for a team of marketers and sales team in Singapore.

You will work closely with:

Direct team: Marketing & Sales force (Management, Professional Sales Representatives)

Indirect (local) team: Medical, Regulatory Affairs, Supply chain, Finance, HR & HH Country Leadership Team

Regional team: Regional Vaccines Customer Business Line (CBL)

External team: Agency partners, Key customers and industry players, Industry groups, Societies, Advocacy Groups, and Policymakers external to the organization

What should you have:

Skills, knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required:

10-15 years of relevant industry experience in commercial development, sales, and/or marketing, with proven experience in building brands to achieve over $50m in sustained revenue

Sound understanding of the vaccine ecosystem with tangible proven experience of shaping solutions in partnership with others that have positively impacted the willingness and ability of people to get the vaccines they need

Experience in leading people/teams around performance and achieving exceptional results

Experience in launching novel products in challenging market conditions and delivering exceptional long-term results
